Vis Moot 2019: Home

Many thanks to Loren Turner, Foreign, Comparative & International Law Librarian at the University of Minnesota Law Library. Loren created the original template for this guide.

Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot

This electronic research guide has been created to guide law students competing in the 26th Annual Willem C. International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition in Vienna, Austria, and in the Vis Moot (East) in Hong Kong. The competition tests students' knowledge and advocacy of international commercial arbitration law (known as the "procedural law" of the moot problem) and international commercial sales (or contract) law (known as the "substantive law" of the moot problem).  For help researching the procedural and substantive law involved in the moot problem, look to the tabs on the upper part of the screen.
