Location and Hours

Main entrance: 3rd Floor of the Corboy Law Center

The Law Library is in the Corboy Law Center, 25 East Pearson. The main entrance is on the third floor, where you can also find circulation and reference services. There are entrances on the fourth and fifth floors, which only open with IDs of law school students, staff, and faculty.

Helpful Resources to Know

1L Required Course Books
The Law Library has most of the 1L course books for required courses on reserve. To use these books, come to the Circulation Desk on the third floor of the Law Library and identify your professor and the title of the book. You may check out the book until the Law Library closes that same day.

Basic Legal Research Guide
The Basic Legal Research Guide covers all the research resources from the 1L Basic Legal Research class.

Where to Study
Quiet floors are the fourth and fifth floors. There are tables, carrels, and some standing desks throughout the Law Library.

Study Rooms may be reserved for two or more Loyola law students here, Study Room Reservations.

A-Z Databases List
For a list of the Law Library databases, including Bloomberg, Lexis, and Westlaw, visit the A-Z Databases List.

Study Aids
The Law Library provides access to three online study aids packages:

The Law Library's Study Aids, Study Skills, & Exam Preparation Resource Guide provides links to online study aids arranged by school year and by subject.

CALI
CALI, the Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction, offers interactive tutorials that cover most law school topics. Students must register to access CALI lessons. If you need a CALI registration code, please visit the Law Library or email LoyolaLawReference@luc.edu.
