This guide provides information about researching federal law and government documents.

About Web Resources

These pages identify free websites for locating information from the federal government.  There are additional free government resources listed under the Getting Started tab.

There also are licensed databases with government documents, such as Westlaw, Lexis, and Hein Online.  Access to these materials is limited to members of the Loyola community and in some cases the law school.  To get to the licensed databases, go to the Databases tab.
