This guide includes resources for researching issues such as adoption, child abuse, child support, custody and visitation, and juvenile justice.

Selected books in the Loyola Law Library. To find an item in Loyola's collection which is not on this list, please use Loyola's online catalog.  Some suggested subject headings you can search and/or browse: 

Adoption--Law and legislation.

Children--Legal status, laws, etc.

Child abuse.

Child support--Law and legislation.

Custody of children.

Juvenile justice, administration of.

In the alternative, you can browse the shelves in the Library.  General Child Law subject materials are located on the 5th floor starting at call number KF 479; Illinois Child Law materials are shelved on the 3rd floor starting at at call number KFI 1294.
