Education Law Research Guide: Getting Started

This research guide covers the resources available to members of the Loyola community who are researching education law.

Education Law - Introduction

This research guide covers the resources available to members of the Loyola community who are researching education law. Specific sub-topics encompassed by this guide include but are not limited to elementary education, higher education, special education, charter schools, and discrimination.

Education law is a mix of federal and state primary law; therefore, this guide will cover relevant federal and Illinois statutes and regulations.

Access to some of the electronic resources included in this guide is limited to users who have a valid Loyola ID and password; access to other resources is restricted to the law school community only.

If you have any questions about using any of the sources listed in this guide, or any other reference questions, please contact one of our Reference Librarians at (312) 915-7205, by e-mail at LoyolaLawReference@luc.edu, or in person at the Reference Desk (Law Library, 3rd floor).
