What is Diversity?

Workplace diversity refers to having employees who represent a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and viewpoints — such as differences in race, ethnicity, gender, age, abilities, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. It also includes cultural diversity, meaning the organization includes people from various countries, languages, traditions, and belief systems.
