Child Law Research Guide: Journals

This guide includes resources for researching issues such as adoption, child abuse, child support, custody and visitation, and juvenile justice.

About

The listed law journals are specifically devoted to family and children's rights law issues and are available via the Library's subscription to HeinOnline.  To access these journals, you must have a valid Loyola user ID and password.

To find citations to articles from other law journals on these topics, search by keyword or subject using LegalTrac (which also requires a valid Loyola user ID and password).  Some suggestions for subject headings to search in LegalTrac:

Administration of Juvenile Justice

Adoption

Child Abuse

Child Custody

Child Support

Child Welfare

Juvenile Law

Once you find a citation in LegalTrac, you can then find the full text in HeinOnline or in print.  Our print law journals are located on the 4th floor of the Library.
