International Comparative Legal Guides (ICLG)

The UK-based Global Legal Group Limited publishes an "International Comparative Legal Guide Series," with each title covering multiple jurisdictions with each chapter dedicated to one country; Chile is included in several of the titles. Local law firms generally author the chapters, which are in Q & A format.

Legal Spanish

The following book provides a good introduction to specialized Spanish legal terminology:

Teach Yourself...Legal Spanish: Bilingual Guide to the Legal Terminology and Laws of Latin America and Spain by Julio Romañach, Jr.

Chapters on various legal topics include fundamental terms in Spanish and samples of legislation, along with English translations. Translation exercises—Spanish into English, and English into Spanish--are also provided. Topics covered include: “Contracts and Obligations,” “Torts and Damages,” “Criminal Law and Procedure,” and “Sales and Leases.”

Bilingual Spanish/English legal dictionaries are located in the 3rd Floor Reference Section in the K52 range.  Note that there is also a free, online dictionary of Chilean legal terms available (in Spanish only), produced in collaboration with the Chilean Supreme Court.
